Challenge Rules

The Two Sides of the Fence Challenge is for real girlies, real journals, real stories, and real love. 💕 Your entry celebrates what supporting your incarcerated loved one means to you — follow every rule below to stay eligible for one of three $500 cash prizes.

Purchase LOVE COSTS MONEY: The Love & Support Budget Journal for yourself.

Take a REAL photo or make a REAL TikTok showing your journal — real girlies, real journals, real stories, real love.

Post your photo or video on TikTok, tag @PrisonTokGirlies, and use the official challenge hashtag.

Leave an honest review for LOVE COSTS MONEY on Amazon after using your journal.

Optional: purchase LOCKED AWAY STILL IN CONTROL for your incarcerated loved one if their facility allows books from Amazon, and have them write an honest review about their experience with the workbook.

Your loved one's review can be a screenshot, photo of a handwritten review, typed message, or another clear format — submit it to PTG through the submission page.

Your incarcerated loved one receiving the book is NOT required to participate. Facility rules are different, and we don't want that to prevent anyone from joining the challenge.

NO FAKE AI VIDEOS. NO FAKE AI PHOTOS. Entries using AI-generated media will be disqualified.

Your challenge video cannot be deleted right away — keep it publicly posted for at least 30 days after winners are announced (through January 12, 2027).

Entries that are deleted or made private during that time may be disqualified.

Submit your required challenge work through the PTG submission page.

Incomplete entries may not qualify.

Participants must follow all challenge rules to be eligible for prizes.

Purchasing the journal does NOT guarantee winning.

Three winners will each receive $500 in cash plus a PTG gift package — $1,500 total in cash prizes.

Winners will be announced on the official PrisonTok Girlies TikTok.

PTG reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not follow the rules.

Participants should not upload private, sensitive, or identifying information about themselves or their incarcerated loved ones.

💸 Getting your prize

Each of the three winners receives a $500 cash prize, and you pick how you'd like to be paid — Cash App (easiest), Venmo, or PayPal. Winners are announced on the official PrisonTok Girlies TikTok and on the PTG website, and we reach out by email to arrange your prize — so use an email you check! Prizes are paid within 7 days of the announcement.

Do not upload private, sensitive, or identifying information about yourself or your incarcerated loved one — addresses, phone numbers, inmate numbers, financial details, or anything that could put either of you at risk. We'll only ever ask winners for a Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal name by email — never a password, card number, or bank login.
